Mike and Monica Prescott are the founding pastors of City Life Christian Centre. In 1992, they decided to move to Leduc and start a new kind of church – a church that was focused on relationship with people and with Jesus Christ. Both Mike and Monica bring a great balance to the church and the vision they cast together, and have built an incredibly talented and devoted team alongside them as a result of their hard work and dedication.
Mike is the “If it’s broken I will fix it”, “If it’s high-tech I will have it”, “If it’s hockey I will watch it” kind of guy Every message he shares at church is full of powerfully practical tips on how to live a genuine and successful life of integrity (and a few corny jokes, just for flavor). Take a look at Monica, and you can get a good picture of who she is – she’s a fireball that never stops. She constantly redefines “out of the box” thinking with her rich and versatile creativity. She is a powerful speaker who cuts to the core and strives to raise up effective leaders.
This is a couple that will always be “young at heart”. They love to laugh and just hang out. They’re real people, who just happen to have a really really big family that gets together every week.
Mike and Monica live in Leduc, Alberta with their two children, Kaelan and Samara.
