What We Believe

We believe that there is one true God, who is the Creator of all creation.

We believe in the Trinity: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to earth and lived among humanity, gave His life for us by dying on the cross and rose again on the third day.

We believe that Jesus is the only way to God, and that to have eternal life you must be born again. This means confessing that Jesus is Lord of your life, believeing He is the Son of God and establishing a personal relationship with Him.

We interpret scripture as the divinely inspired Word of God and the absolute authority of truth.

We believe that water baptism is an act of faith which a believer in & follower of Jesus Christ does as a personal confession of their faith, after they have committed their lives to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We practice the complete immersion in water.

We believe in the freedom of expression of worship. We sing, raise our hands, dance, clap. We also believe that our giving of finance is an act of worship, whether it is giving to the church or giving to those that are in need.

We believe that the Holy Spirit plays an active role in the lives of believers today. We believe that one of the greatest ways the Holy Spirit shows Himself through believers is through their character: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. We also believe that the Gifts of the Spirit, as outlined in scripture, are for today and encourage people to use the gifts which God has given to them.

We believe that one form of communion is when believers gather together to fellowship over a meal. We also practice corporate communion (partaking of bread and juice) several times a year.
