Girls, what’s shining out of your life?
Shine! is an acronym for: Seeing Her Impact, Navigate & Embrace life beautifully!
Impact - is about Strength – getting strong spiritually, emotionally, physically and relationally so we are able to impact our world.
Navigate - is about gaining Wisdom to do life skillfully.
Embrace - is about Compassion – love in action, reaching out to the hurting, helping the broken become whole
As women there is something unique, beautiful, and powerful that is meant to shine out of our lives. And Shine! is the women’s movement of City Life that seeks to do just that. (We like to use the term ‘girls’ because we’re really all girls at heart – whether our age is 13, 33, or 103!)
The Shine! Sisterhood is a weekly gathering of the girls which consists of small groups and "compassion in action" hands-on serving opportunities to reach out with the love of Jesus in practical ways; both in our "backyard world" and in the bigger "global world".
