Teams

The City Life Team is any group of volunteers who help create a comfortable environment during our weekday and weekend experiences so that people will be more open to experiencing the reality of God’s presence in their lives during any of their City Life experiences. All of our teams play a significant role in creating the culture of City Life and building the church during the weekday/weekend experiences.  There's a place on the team for you!

Monthly Team Training

Our monthly (and occasional special event) Team Training Night is for all volunteers in any area of church life. We gather for the purpose of building relationships, connecting with other teams, and for being equipped to serve and lead. It’s where the heartbeat and “DNA” of City Life is imparted and we grow together as one Team and one Church.

FINANCE TEAM
Consists of counters and front desk attendants. The front desk helps bring a smooth flow in the running of the POS terminal for credit card and debit transactions. The counters accurately count the money that comes in during the offering and makes sure it is prepared accurately for deposit to our bank account.

GUEST SERVICES TEAM
Can answer any question about our church, provides tours of our building, has in stock all of our current handout material, and is available to help our guests with anything during the weekend experiences. Their primary focus is to be available for first time guests or those new to City Life.

HOSPITALITY TEAM
Extends a personal touch by preparing and providing snacks for assorted church functions.

Kof•fEE BAR TEAM
Allows people to walk into a fresh smelling “barista cafe atmosphere”, which provides them with treats and refreshments before and after services. Gives guests a chance to unwind or start their day with our friendly energetic Team.

NEXT STEPS TEAM
Brings a welcome and knowledgeable understanding to a person who has received or rededicated their life to Christ. Helps by giving materials, prayer, or finding a time, place or person to meet with them.

SET-UP TEAM
Ensures all guests experience a clean and friendly environment while providing all necessary materials for the weekend experience.

STAGE MANAGING TEAM
Brings order and smooth transitions to all of the elements of the platform during the service. They maintain high professional standards so that the quality of the service continues through the whole experience.

TECH DIRECTING TEAM
Works to oversee all live technical aspects of the weekend services in collaboration with all Worship and Creative Arts Teams (including Sound, Lights, Visual Arts, Stage Managing and Worship Teams).

WELCOME HOME TEAM
Welcomes every person who comes to our church and is stationed in specific areas including main entrance to the church, as well as specified sections. Welcomes guests into the sanctuary by helping guests find seats and assists in preserving a comfortable and God focused environment.
